The RBS Cyan Contact Centre, Rotherham

RBS Cyan Office, RotherhamRBS Cyan Office, RotherhamRoyal Bank of Scotland is the second largest banking institution in the UK and fifth largest in the world. Aside from it's retail banking operations, it also has a number of contact centres and processing operations. Founded in 1727, it has operations around the world in personal and business banking, insurance and corporate finance.

The Business Banking arm of RBS has recently moved into a new 7000-sq ft building on the outskirts of Rotherham which is equipped with a 3kW Solar Photovoltaic system designed and installed by AAG Swepco.

AAG Swepco handled the installation of the three-phase PV system which feeds directly into the buildings electrical distribution network. The office was a new-build development, and AAG Swepco were called upon for their expertise in delivering commercial photovoltaic systems in a range of buildings including office accomodation. AAG Swepco installed a 3kW photovoltaic array to the roof of the building which would avoid an estimated 1,654kg of CO2 emissions each year.
